Here are the few specimen entries for the Android Makers
Encyclopedia "Q" topics:
1.)The
q
command starts the Quattro pro engine with something like
the
argument loads the current worksheet during start-up.
Alternatively, if you start Quattro with only the q command (or any of Quattro's alternatives), then you must use the
worksheet's /F)ile-O)pen ... command to retrieve the model template file.
Now that you are looking at the worksheet; and admittedly it
is not the easiest one to use because it is not a macro driven
application; the easy part is done. You are most likely to be
looking at the same screen as when present when the file was last
saved.
Locking in the screen position is a handy feature when developing a model to take up the next work session from the last
point. This is a fairly large worksheet, so it must be well
organized. Generally, the prompt provides enough information as
to what the model expects in the "Input Matrix." If not, the
default value built into the model should suggest the range of
expectations.
2.)The
An acute angle results from narrow hips in relation to the
femur length; as for a tall and thin subject. Likewise, an obtuse angle may be associated with wide hips from a squat stature.
Q Angle, as within anatomical texts, is properly of the knee
because of the direct effect upon the shape of the femurs'
condyloid surfaces which articulate with the mating surfaces
of the tibia. However, the angle is also reflected in the
pelvis and hip geometry. This is the angle of the femur
shaft off the vertical, or more precisely, the sagittal
plane.
Quadratus femoris; an ac tuator in the innermost layer of muscles
and fascia of the hips, [Gray, p. 430] pulls horizontally
from "the external lip of the tuberosity of the ischium" to
the posterior, "upper part of the linea quadrata.See footnote 1" Gray
did not describe this in his "Actions" paragraph that is in
almost all of the topics.
Quadratus lumborum; an stabilizer in the innermost layer of ac tuators of the pelvis and waist, (see [Gray, p. 367]) is
listed by Gray as one of the "Deep Muscles of the Abdomen."
Gray also describes a covering fascia. This muscle attaches
at the last rib and to the crest of the ilium.
In a human, this is "a muscle of inspiration" (powers the
inhalation) and raises the pelvis by the crest of the ilium. If
both sides contract, the trunk bends. In a human and an android,
one of these contracting alternatively may provide some of the
hip action of walking.
