Here are the few specimen entries for the Android Makers Encyclopedia "L" topics:

     Labial may seem erotic to some, but it means to pertain to; or uttered by; or of the special character of the lips. It is also a vowel or consonant formed mostly by the lips, e.g.; b, m, and p. (From [Thatcher].) However, [Gray] identifies a structure known as "Labia cerebri" which "cerebr..." should suggest the head or brain (see [Gray] p.659).

     Lachrymal: 1)..About tears; making, draining, etc.

    2)..Bone: Being the size of and as thin as fingernails, this structure and shape should be part of another android frame component. By their shape and situation; front and inner eye orbit, suggests either the Nasal or the orbital surface of the Superior Maxillary, or parts on both.

[Gray] describes these as the smallest and most fragile bones of the face. The articulation he describes is not any typically flexible. Clearly, any face shape forming function can be fabricated in and as part of another element. Which one it will be is a matter of detailed engineering.

    3)..Bone; muscle attachment: The only muscle that attaches to the Lachrymal bone is the Tensor Tarsi.

    4)..Crest.

    5)..Fossa: At the outer edge of the Frontal bone's Orbital plate is a depression for the Lachrymal gland. Clearly, with the Lachrymal bone being at the inner orbit, the Frontal bone will not have that shape or function.

    6)..Gland: At the upper and outer part of the orbit, it is under the upper eyelid. [Gray] states that there may be between six and twelve ducts to evenly disperse the fluid. Blinking spreads the fluid out and migrates it for evacuation to the canals.

    7)..Groove.

    8)..Notch.

9)..Sac.

10)..System: [Gray] uses "Apparatus." Clearly this will add a lot of life realism to any android.

And
    11)..Tubercle.

     Lambda is a junction of two skull sutures. It is noted that it is 2.75 inches from and "above the external Occipital protuberance" [Gray]. This is at the back of the head which may suggest that this is the [Farkas] point known as "op".

     Larch: A durable wood from a conifer. The HTA application may be for hybrid bone construction calling for wooden components or models.
